Calamine is an anti-itch medicine that creates a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. It can also dry oozing or weeping from minor skin irritation. It can treat diaper rashes in babies, soothe dry skin, and treat insect bites and chicken pox blisters. It has also been known to aid in treatment of minor skin irritations like psoriasis, eczema, and hives.
Calamine lotion contains zinc oxide, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown that this can help aid in acne treatment. Calamine lotion has also been known to help reduce dark spots and scars on constant application.

Uses:
Dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac.

Warnings: For external use only. Use only as directed. Avoide contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
